Hispanic Women Considered Tops In Bargain Shopping

According to the leading authority on shopping, Hispanic women are now considered to be the most passionate shoppers when it comes to looking for the perfect deal.

The announcement was made by WSL/Strategic Retail, which is considered to be the leading authority on the current trends in retail, as well as the behaviors expressed by shoppers. These findings were part of their report entitled “How America Shops- Mega Trends”. This report was called “Moving On 2012”.

The report highlighted the shopping habits of Hispanic women and how they are now using many different avenues to find deals when shopping. According to the report, coupons, online searches, dollar stores, mobile devices and giant retailers are all ways that Hispanic women are using to stretch their dollars.

Some of the highlights noted in the WSL/Strategic Retail included:

 

– women who only buy items when they are on sale- 54 %

– number of women who look online before shopping in a brick-and-mortar store- 53 %

– those who are willing to travel farther away from home just to save more- 63 %

– women who use coupons to maximize savings- 75 %

– number of women who buy used items when they couldn’t afford the brand when it’s new- 43 %

– number of Hispanic women who use apps for finding savings- 60 %

– uses apps while shopping to locate coupons or other methods of saving money- 53 %
