The first international leadership camp will be conducted in July at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. The camp is called International Doorway Women’s Empowerment (IDWE).
The event is scheduled to take place over the course of 11 days, starting on July 5th and going through July 15th.
The main purpose of the event, which was created by International Doorway, is to spotlight the up-and-coming talent of young women from across the globe.
The program gives young women a chance to expand their personal and professional growth through mentoring, cultural exchanges and networking on the campuses of U.S. Universities. The goal is to properly equip these women so that they are better acclimated to enter the workforce.
The program is open to international students looking to continue their education. Scholarships and admission into ESL courses are available. There is also the ID WE & Scholarship Program for individuals wishing to pursue Undergraduate and Graduate degrees.
Attendees have been invited from various countries including Asia, Latin America, Africa and Europe. Topics that will be covered during the retreat include negotiation, personal marketing, female management, and coaching success- both personally as well as professionally. ID WE will also provide a wide range of social activities to area theme parks and the Daytona Beach area.
